When we like to take some awesome photos of the clear and full-of-stars sky, we should find a dark place not to let light pollution ruin our images.
But, what is light pollution?
Actually, it is inappropriate artificial light caused by different settlements, cities, towns and so on. The less light pollution we have in an area the more stars and objects we can see on the azure. Around bright cities and shiny buildings, we can barely find appropriate places so we can try to avoid them and go to extinct locations.
But, where are these areas situated?
I have found two sites that deal with light-pollution maps and help you find a nice place for night-sky photography.
Darksitefinder…
…is really cool however I don’t think it’s up-to-date.

Lightpollutionmap…
…is a little jumbled however it contains the road map so you can check how you can get to that certain places and it’s up-to-date. You can choose from 2 type of views and a hybrid view is pretty clean I think.
